Fiesta de cierre del Campo Base / Octubre, 02, 2007
This summer we will converge on an industrial warehouse on the outskirts of Reggio Emilia (Italy) with all our scattered materialities and immaterialities and set up a temporary RoToR Base Camp.
We will unpack boxes full of dusty files, crumpled sketches, maps, found objects and things we have made… everything that has been accumulating since the summer of 2001 when we first set out together to search for adventures on the streets of Poble Nou.
We will be looking back retrospectively, ready to revisit, assess and test what we have learnt - we want to put a stamp of freedom on all these things and detach them from ourselves so that they can be free and open for whoever wants to use them.
We invite all of you, friends and collaborators who accompanied us on our adventures and explorations on SEA, EARTH and AIR, in which we grew together, to come along and celebrate the last adventure of the First Rotation of RoToR - We invite you to fit out and inhabit the Warehouse that will be open over these three sumer months (July / September / August), helping us to transform it and transform ourselves as we transform our surroundings.
To do this, without any fixed plan, we are opening up a series of departments: tracking, engineering, logistics, food supply… we invite you to join one and invent your own mission, this time in the countryside around Emilia Romana.

estrategías para una guerra de cada día
Por que guerra?- porque los medios de comunicación nos atabalan con la información (sobre las guerras lejanas, que no hemos experienciado) sobre cual no podemos juzgar, porque no lo hemos vivido y la informacion que tenemos ha pasado ya varios filtros.- porque indirectamente viviendo en un país que participa en una guerra en algún lugar lejano nos obliga a participar en ella formando la última linea de frente, la retaguardia.- porque habitando y haciendo localmente estamos contribuyendo a un sistema que esta repercutiendo unos acciones en escalas globales que nos sobrepasan, por esto queremos concienciar nuestras maneras de actuar a nivel local, - porque la guerra no esta allí mas que aquí, cada día

Reggio Children - Fundado después de segunda Guerra Mundial por Loris Malaguzzi a partir de sus investigaciones en psiqo-pedagogíaComo después de la guerra la ciudad se quedado sin escuelas escuela fue construida por iniciativa de los madres que la construyeron ellas mismas reutilizando los ladrillos de los edificios destruidosLoris Malaguzzi pertenecía a movimiento Comunista - y la escuela era completamente laica que no era mas común en Italia pero hay que tener en cuenta que Reggio Emilia era el centro de movimiento comunista en la época de la guerra (Continued)
